Railroad Days
Colfax Railroad Days is a celebration of Colfax's role in the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad. It was the terminus for supplies, equipment, and laborers for their push to build the railroad bed through the Sierra and beyond. This is a two-day free family event open to everyone, held on the third weekend of September from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday. Learn more at colfaxrailroaddays.com.
Trunk or Treat Downtown Colfax

Winterfest
This annual event is held in downtown historic Colfax on the second Saturday of December. It features a parade, tree lighting, craft vendors, a beer garden, music, Santa visit, and a fireworks display. Learn more at colfaxchamber.com.
Green Machine Annual Crab Feed
Annual Crab Feed & Silent Auction is held in March at the Sierra Vista Community Center, 55 School Street, Colfax, CA. This event was founded in 2007 as a community-based fundraiser. Take-out and dine-in options. Learn more at colfaxgreenmachine.org.
Easter Egg Hunt
An Annual Easter Egg Hunt is held the Saturday before Easter at Lion’s Children’s Park, Parkhill Dr, Colfax, CA. For details visit https://www.facebook.com/ColfaxCALionsClub.
Third of July
The Third of July is an annual celebration held on July 3 in downtown Colfax. This free family-friendly event includes craft vendors, a kid’s zone, live music, a parade, and a fireworks display. Learn more at 3rdofjulycolfax.org.

Art Walk with Cruise Night
The Colfax Lions Club and Sierra Vista Arts host this invitational Classic Car Show and Local Artist showcase on third Fridays from 4-8 pm May through September in the heart of Colfax’s historical downtown district. See https://www.facebook.com/ColfaxCALionsClub for details.

Colfax Veterans Memorial Hall Breakfast
Pancake breakfast with eggs, sausage and ham, coffee, and orange juice. All you can eat.

Sierra Vista Community Center Flea Market

Monthly Bingo Night
Bingo night for those 18 and older is hosted by the Green Machine at Colfax Veterans Memorial Hall on the third Saturday each month. Doors open at 5:30, the game begins at 6:15 pm. $20 per player. Held at VFW, 22 Sunset Circle, Colfax, CA. Learn more at colfaxgreenmachine.org.
