Michigan born and raised, US Air Force Veteran, IBM retiree, and active Computer Software Consultant. I am married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Giving back matters to me. I have served on multiple Boards of Directors, a Bay Area community Park and Recreation Commission, a community supported and volunteer driven radio station, and given many years to City Recreation Department, Middle School and High School Boys and Girls Athletic coaching. This is my first time on a City Council.
The finest way to create a strong and vibrant community is to serve the people who live here now. If we do that right, the rest will follow. Our City is like an empty canvas, waiting for the creators and volunteers. Murals would get us started. And a day use river park along the nearby Bear River.
My strongest interest is our historic downtown. The best opportunities lie there. I hope to encourage residents, dreamers, business people, volunteers, organizations, students, schools and city and regional governments to make our downtown a sustaining magnet. Let’s get started.
