NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Colfax will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on October 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Colfax City Hall, 33 S. Main Street, in the City Council Chambers. During this meeting, the City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on the following project:

The City of Colfax is excited to announce the return of Winterfest, our beloved annual celebration of the holiday season! This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th, and promises to bring even more joy, community spirit, and winter magic to our downtown streets.
We would like to invite you to partner with the City of Colfax as a sponsor to help make this year’s Winterfest the best one yet. Your support will help us cover event costs such as entertainment, marketing, and the most beloved part, the fireworks. The Colfax City Council will hold a public hearing on delinquent sewer and/or solid waste report on June 11, 2025, commencing at 6:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at Colfax City Hall, 33 S. Main Street, Colfax, California. A copy of the report can be obtained or reviewed in advance of the hearing at Colfax City Hall during the City’s usual business hours Monday through Thursday between 8am and 5pm.

Free Compost is available to Colfax Residents at 250 Rising Sun Rd. Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, while supplies last.

The Placer County Air Pollution Control District (PCAPCD) is pleased to announce the opportunity for Placer County residents to receive an incentive to replace their old, high-polluting wood stove/insert with a cleaner-burning, more efficient device. See the attached flyer for full details.

The City of Colfax is requesting proposals from qualified consultant firms to provide contract grant administration services for a State of California Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and other State and Federal programs.
Proposals are due by Monday June 9, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
