NOTICE INVITING BIDS – CDBG Road Rehabilitation Project 2026

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Colfax as AGENCY, invites sealed bids for the above stated project and will receive such bids in the office of the City Clerk, 33 South Main St, Colfax, California 95713 up to the hour of 2:00 p.m., on weekday the 16th day of April, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 p.m. on the 16th day of April, 2026, in the City Council Chambers. The date and time shall be extended by no less than 72 hours if the officer, department, or Project Manager issues any material changes, additions, or deletions to the invitation later than 72 hours prior to the bid closing. Any bids received after the time specified above or any extension due to material changes shall be returned unopened.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The work generally consists of grinding pavement, removing culverts, clearing culverts of debris, minor storm drain work, new asphalt and concrete pavement, striping, adjusting utilities to grade, and placing erosion control.
